Clontarf Elegance
Beautiful bones. A fresh perspective. Ready for market.
After two years as a rental, this elegant Sydney home was ready for its next chapter.
The architecture was beautiful. The proportions were generous. French doors opened onto leafy outlooks, natural light poured through the home and the original details gave it a timeless elegance.
But empty, it felt cold.
The walls carried the little signs of its years as a rental — hooks, nails and areas that needed patching and refreshing. And without furniture to define the generous rooms, it was difficult to appreciate just how inviting this home could feel.
Before styling began, we worked with the owner to identify what needed attention, from removing old hooks and patching walls to freshening the paintwork, creating a clean foundation for the sale campaign.
Then came the transformation.
We layered the home with soft upholstery, warm neutrals, touches of navy, natural textures, artwork, greenery and considered accessories — balancing its classic architectural details with a fresh, elevated aesthetic.
Large empty rooms became places to gather.
The fireplace became the heart of an inviting living space.
The expansive bedroom felt calm and luxurious.
And previously undefined areas were given purpose, helping buyers instantly understand how they could live in and enjoy every part of the home.
Everything was chosen to help buyers notice what was already beautiful about it.
The finished home felt warm, elegant and established, still unmistakably itself, but now presented in a way that allowed buyers to connect with it from the moment they walked through the door.
From empty and tired to layered, inviting and ready to be fallen in love with.
